# Puzzel.org > The free online puzzle maker with 45 ways to play. You supply the content — a word list, a set of questions, a photo — and one of 45 generators turns it into an interactive activity you can share with a link, embed in a website or print as a worksheet. It is built for teachers and used by anyone who wants a puzzle of their own. Create custom crosswords, word searches, jigsaws, quizzes, memory games, sudokus and more from your own content in a live editor, share them with a link, and embed them anywhere. - 45 activity generators, each with its own builder page, listed under "Activity generators" below. - Interface in 23 languages, right-to-left included. The activities themselves can be written in any language. - Players need no account: they open a link or scan a QR code. Creating can also be tried without an account; what you make is held in that browser until you sign in, and a free account is what makes a share link keep working. - No ads, no analytics, no third-party cookies. A session cookie for staying signed in is the only one set by default. - Free account: 2 saved activities and 60 player sessions a month, with every activity type available. Paid plans start at €30 a year. - A player session is one player opening one activity. The same player replaying it does not count twice, and the owner's own previews never count. - Runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet or desktop. Nothing to install, no plugins. - Result tracking is a paid-plan feature, switched on per activity: score, given answers and time per player, with or without asking players to register. Results are recorded only while the owner has a paid plan and tracking is on, and only the owner sees them. - Every account carries two storage regions, each Europe or the United States: one for uploaded images and audio (applies to new uploads, changeable by any account) and one for account data (US by default; moving it needs a paid plan and copies everything across before the old copy is removed). - A public activity library, where teachers share activities on purpose for other teachers to copy into their own account; nothing is listed automatically. - A connector for AI assistants (remote MCP server at https://puzzel.org/mcp, sign-in with a Puzzel.org account), free on every plan: it makes, finds and changes activities in the signed-in account. Claude lists it in its connector directory (https://claude.ai/directory/puzzel-org); any other assistant that takes a remote MCP server adds it by that address. - Made and run by Daan Weustenraad from Amersfoort, the Netherlands, who started it in 2016. Support: daan@puzzel.org. This is the short map. The long version, with the whole help centre inlined, is at https://puzzel.org/llms-full.txt. ## Start here - [Home](https://puzzel.org/en): What the site does, with the 4 generators the home page leads with. - [Activities](https://puzzel.org/en/generators): Every one of the 45 puzzle and game generators, grouped by kind, with a description of each and a link to its theme page. - [Features](https://puzzel.org/en/features): What activities can do: the editor, AI generation, the player, multiplayer, tracking, embedding. - [Ideas](https://puzzel.org/en/ideas): 90 ready-made ways to use the generators, each one a real activity that can be played on the spot and copied into an account: a knockout quiz, a secret-message word search, a treasure map trail. - [LMS](https://puzzel.org/en/features/puzzel-lms): Puzzel LMS: one page per lesson with text, media and activities, shared with a class of first names, with progress per student. A whole set of activities. - [AI assistant connector](https://puzzel.org/en/features/ai-assistant-connector): Connect Puzzel.org to ChatGPT, Claude or any other assistant that takes a connector. Ask for a crossword, a quiz, a word search, a matching game or any other activity in your own words: the assistant writes the content, Puzzel.org builds the activity and saves it in your account, with a link your class can open. - [Single sign-on (SSO)](https://puzzel.org/en/features/single-sign-on): Connect your own identity provider to Puzzel.org, over OpenID Connect or SAML 2.0, and the people who play your activities or follow your courses sign in where they always do. Nobody types a name, nobody picks another password, and every result belongs to somebody you know. - [Puzzel LMS](https://puzzel.org/en/features/puzzel-lms): A learning management system for teachers and trainers, built around your activities. - [Puzzel LMS for schools](https://puzzel.org/en/features/puzzel-lms/schools): Write the page as you would write a worksheet — text, pictures, video, audio — and drop a quiz, a crossword or a memory game straight into it. The class opens one link. - [Puzzel Academy — an LMS for onboarding and training](https://puzzel.org/en/features/puzzel-lms/academy): Build the course once — the policy text, a short video, a quiz to check it landed — put it behind a login page with your name and colours, and see who is done. - [Course builder — Puzzel LMS](https://puzzel.org/en/features/puzzel-lms/course-builder): Headings, text, pictures, video, a PDF, a formula — and any of your activities, dropped in between the paragraphs. There is no separate assignment to wire up: where the explanation is, the activity is. - [Classes and groups — Puzzel LMS](https://puzzel.org/en/features/puzzel-lms/classes-and-groups): Paste a class list, and students tap their own name the first time; the device remembers them. Or switch on the student list, and every student — in an Academy, every learner — signs in with their own account and stays one person across all their classes or groups. - [Grades and feedback — Puzzel LMS](https://puzzel.org/en/features/puzzel-lms/grades-and-feedback): Every activity in a course reports how far each student got. The Grades view turns that into a score per activity — the automatic one, or your own with a comment — and an average per student you can export. - [My learning and branding — Puzzel LMS](https://puzzel.org/en/features/puzzel-lms/my-learning): With the student list on, your school or Academy gets a login page of its own. Every student or learner lands on “My learning”: each course shared with their classes or groups, and how far they are. An Academy puts its own name and colours on all of it. - [PuzzleGPT: make an activity with AI](https://puzzel.org/en/features/puzzle-gpt-ai-puzzle-generation): Say what you want to teach. PuzzleGPT makes the activity. ### Themes The generators grouped by what you bring — one page per genre. - [Word puzzles](https://puzzel.org/en/themes/word-puzzles): Paste your vocabulary once and the word puzzle generators do the rest — grids lay themselves out, hints scale down for younger classes, and word puzzles print as cleanly as they play. Generators: Crossword puzzle, Word search, Acrostic, Parts of speech, Hangman, Typing practice, Word scramble, Wordle, Arrowword, Fallen phrase, Rebus, Strands, Spelling test. - [Picture puzzles](https://puzzel.org/en/themes/picture-puzzles): Upload a diagram, a painting or a photo of the school trip and the picture puzzle maker turns it into a puzzle in seconds — pieces, labels, hidden objects. Difficulty is a setting, not a redraw. Generators: Jigsaw puzzle, Matching game, Memory, Bingo, Categorize, Quartets, Sequencing game, Sliding puzzle, Hidden objects, Spot the difference, Mystery picture, I have, who has. - [Code puzzles](https://puzzel.org/en/themes/code-puzzles): Ciphers, keypads and arithmetic that gate something real — the next station, the homework, the escape-room door. You set the difficulty; the generator keeps it solvable. Generators: Arithmetic sums, Cryptogram, Keypad, Scavenger hunt, Sudoku, Times tables, Logic puzzle. - [Math puzzles](https://puzzel.org/en/themes/math-puzzles): Generated sums at the level you choose, sudokus in 5 sizes, and the card and sentence generators with numbers in them.
