Matching pairs maker

Put a word beside its translation, a picture beside its name, a sound beside its meaning — players join the two halves back up.

Up to five columns per row, so a pair can become a set: word, translation, picture and example sentence all in one line.

Players tap a card in each column and a line joins them — the paper worksheet, on screen. Switch it off and they drag the cards into line instead.

Every first card gets an empty slot beside it and the rest wait in a bank above, ready to be dragged across.

The first column keeps your order and cannot be moved, so players only rearrange what sits beside it.

Any card can be text, an image or an audio clip — and portrait cards suit photographs better than the default landscape.

Players can challenge each other and work through the same pairs head to head.
