Matching pairs is a puzzle beyond sticking two post-it's in the right spots. You can make it as interesting as you like with text/image combinations :)

How does matching pairs work?
Matching pairs is all in the name, it is about matching a pair of cards so they are in the same row. You as the puzzle maker create all kinds of logical card pairs with text/image, image/image or text/text combinations.
The cards get split into a random order by default and need to be aligned as the correct card pair in the 'solving area' of the puzzle. You can also give the left and right column of the solving area a name, so it is clear which part of the card pair belongs where.
The matching pairs puzzle is solved once all of the cards have been dragged and dropped into the right spots. Dragging and dropping is supported on mobile (touch) as well as desktop (mouse).
How do students share /submit their completed matching pairs puzzle?
Tracking (student) matching pairs results is a cool feature that Puzzel.org has built in for upgraded subscriptions. You can add forced registration to see individual results (progress percentage, real-time), or add a completion message with a 'collect user info' option that allows you to export the submitted matching pairs completions.
Can students solve the matching pairs puzzle together?
Not yet! But this could be interesting some day :) - matching cards could definitely be a group activity.
Can the matching pairs be embedded on my website?
Yes! This is the core goal of Puzzel.org, creating online, interactive and embeddable puzzles :). You do need an upgraded account for this.
Can the matching pairs be customised?
Yes! You can adjust the colors, fonts, layout type and a lot of individual settings to make sure the matching pairs align with your idea :).
How will my matching pairs look if I upgrade and embed it?
Below you see an interactive example matching pairs puzzle that shows how it could look. As you can see, it is just the matching pairs puzzle and nothing else. Just puzzle fun, no Puzzel.org recognition.
How many people can play my matching pairs?
The free version allows 60 puzzle plays per month per account. You can upgrade to a better subscription to allow more puzzle plays.
