Create memory game

create an interactive memory game that is easy to play and fun to solve!

Your puzzle cannot be saved yet. Add more input below to make it saveable :)

The memory game maker

Create any number of memory game card pairs, and mix up the combinations of text, image and audio if like! :)

The memory game editor allows you to create 'regular' memory games with card pairs containing the same content. If you want to re-use the same text/image/audio, just hit the purple Copy-icon next to an empty field.

But don't stop there! You can also create 'irregular' memory by mixing up the content per card pair. This will make it more educational/challenging for the players! :)

Tweaking the flip time

To find a matching pair of cards, you have to click on the cards of the same card pair, right after each other. If you do not find the correct pair, the cards will flip back and you can try again :). The game is solved when all memory card pairs are found.

The 'Flip time' can be changed on the Settings-tab to give your puzzle players more time to interpret the content of the card.

Fully responsive memory cards

The memory game interface is completely responsive and tries to fit every card within one 'viewport', so that you don't have to scroll to play the game.

It does this by calculating the field size, the number of cards and keeps into account the minimum font size required for the cards to stay readable.

This results in a nice 'responsive' memory game, playable on all devices and screen sizes!

Show numbers on the cards

To accompany memory games played on a digital school board, or in a virtual meeting, the Premium option 'Show numbers on cards' was added.

This way, the player can call out a number and the organiser of the virtual memory session can flip the card manually.

Switching to portrait mode

By default the memory cards are shown in 'Landscape' mode, where the width of cards is bigger than the height.

But in some cases you might want to switch this aspect ratio. To do this, enable the 'Portrait mode' option on the Settings-tab and the orientation will readjust directly.

Play memory in multiplayer-mode

Playing alone or together on one device is fun, but what if you could play your memory game together, from separate devices? Like a real 'multiplayer'.

The Premium option 'Force multiplayer' enables a game-mode where players can start and share their own (private) games. Players in the same game session can battle each other to see who captures the most card pairs! :)

All card selections made by the active player are synchronised in realtime to the other players in the same memory game session. This way you are really playing together.

Setting a countdown timer

To make a memory card game more challenging, you can enable the 'Use countdown timer' via the Premium-tab.

Set to any time limit that you like, you can challenge the player to find all of the card pairs within the given countdown time. More adrenaline!
