Times tables game maker

Pick the times tables and a picture, and the online game is ready — nothing to type. Every right multiplication paints one square, so the picture appears as the tables are learned.

In order, each row reads like the multiplication table is recited: 1 × 5, 2 × 5, 3 × 5. Shuffled, the rows and columns are mixed, so every square is a multiplication fact to know rather than to count.

Switch it on and every player chooses which of your tables to practise before the grid appears — the 7 table for one, the 3, 4 and 6 for another. The results show which tables each player's mistakes were in.

A sailboat, a rocket, a cat and five more come with it. With a plan, upload a picture of your own or make one with AI — it is turned into the squares of the grid.

A wrong answer shows the right one, then locks that square for a few answers and asks it again. The picture is only finished once the tricky multiplication facts are answered right.

Players challenge each other to the same multiplication grid, each on their own board, and whoever paints the whole picture first wins.

Split the class into teams, each with one picture to uncover. Every right answer paints the square for the whole team at once, and you follow each team's progress live.

Players tap a square or take the one picked for them, type the answer on the number pad or the keyboard, and watch the square paint. The multiplication facts they missed are listed beside the grid.

Finish the whole grid and a friendly diploma pops up: the player's name, the times tables they completed as coloured badges, the picture they coloured in and the date. Print it and hand it out in class.
