Ancient Rome
Who were the Romans?

Rome began as a small town on the Tiber and grew into an empire that ruled the Mediterranean for centuries.

Step 1

Write it like a document

Pages, sections, headings and text — with a plus between the blocks that drops in a picture, a video, a callout or one of your activities right where the explanation is.

Step 2

Share it with a class

A class is a list of first names. Students open the link, tap their name once, and the device remembers them. Or share the link with anyone, with a password if you like.

Step 3

See who finished what

One overview per course: students down, activities across, every cell a score. The same results panel you already know, read per class.

Every student, every activity, on one screen

Look at one class or all of them side by side. A tick is done, a dot is started, and a name nobody has picked yet stands out at once. Click a cell to see what that student answered, or switch on live updates and watch it fill in during the lesson.

What a student sees

The course opens as a single page. Activities play inside it — a crossword, a quiz, a memory game — and the ones that need the whole screen open in their own.

Proving a name, only when you need it

By default a name is a tap on a list. A class can ask for more: a password each student chooses on their first visit, or a sign-in with the school's Google or Microsoft account. Off by default, switched on per class.

  • Tap your name from the class list
  • A password per student, per class
  • Google or Microsoft school sign-in
  • A password on the whole course

Built for a school, not just a teacher

Courses live in the school library too: every connected teacher edits the same course, one at a time, and shares it with the school's classes. And a course translates into any of the 23 site languages in one go — with its own copies of every activity, so two classes get two sets of results.

Before you build one

Do students need an account?

No. A class is a list of first names you paste in. A student picks their name once on their device, and that is it. A teacher can reset a name from the roster at any time.

What does it cost?

Nothing on top of the School plan. Courses, classes and the progress overview are part of it; every plan below it keeps the activities themselves.

Can I use the activities I already made?

Yes — a course points at your activities, it never copies them. Edit the activity and every course that uses it is up to date.
