Colour in the times tables
The 2, 5 and 10 times tables as a grid with a hidden picture. Every right answer paints part of a rocket, and a finished grid earns a diploma.
When to use it
Times tables practice at the start of a maths lesson. Homework children finish because they want to see the picture. A table a pupil is still unsure of, practised on a tablet while you work with a small group.

Answer the sums of the 2, 5 and 10 times tables. Every right answer colours in part of a hidden picture, and a sum you miss comes back a little later. Finish the grid for your diploma.

Why the example is built this way

Three tables, thirty answers.
The 2, 5 and 10 take turns down the ten rows, so every sum is on the grid more than once. With "Paint every copy of a sum at once" on, one right answer paints all of its squares: 30 answers finish the picture instead of 100. Turn it off for hard-core practice, where every square is answered on its own.

A missed sum comes back.
A wrong answer shows the right one and locks the square for three answers, then the sum is asked again. Pupils practise exactly the sums they don't know yet, and the picture only finishes once every one of them is right.

A diploma at the end.
Finish the grid and a diploma opens with the pupil's name, the tables they practised and the picture they coloured in, ready to print. The diploma is a premium setting: a copy on the free plan plays the same grid without it.
