First-week acrostic
Seven things a new starter meets, in the order they meet them, and a column down the middle that greets them by the end.
When to use it
The onboarding pack, as the first thing a new starter opens on their laptop. An induction session, solved together on the big screen with the clues read out. A welcome mail for a new team member, with a puzzle instead of a list of links.
What makes it this
Built on the Acrostic generator with these changed. Everything else is the default.
- Hidden solution
Marked cells spell out a word or phrase that players enter to finish the puzzle.
In the builder: Solution & words
- Keep my row order
Rows stay in the order you typed them instead of being rearranged for a better fit.

Why the example is built this way
-
Keep my row order tells the week in order.
With it on, row one is the first word you typed, row two the second, and so on, so the week reads from Monday to Friday. With it off, the builder rearranges the rows to fit the letters.
-
Each word has to carry its letter.
Because the order is yours, the first word must contain the column's first letter, the second word its second, and so on. Here the W is in password and the last E in feedback. A word without its letter leaves its row empty.
-
Let the column speak for itself.
Players never see the hidden solution until they spell it, so the instructions and the finish message talk about the column without writing it out. The greeting lands when the last row is filled.
