Raise the stakes Name them all

Recall with no tells

No slots, no count and no give-up. They type what they know and find out at the end.

When to use it

Checking anatomy, vocabulary or formulas a class has already learned, without the screen confirming anything along the way. A sign-off check at the end of product or safety training. A mock exam question that has to be answered cold, with the results read afterwards.

What makes it this

Built on the Name them all generator with these changed. Everything else is the default.

  1. No automatic answer checking

Players stop seeing whether an answer is right while they work.

In the builder: Timing & attempts › Attempts & answers

  2. Time limit

    In seconds.

In the builder: Timing & attempts › Countdown timer

The twelve cranial nerves, with no tells

Type the twelve cranial nerves, one per line, and press Enter after each. Nothing is marked while you play — no slots fill, no name is confirmed or refused, and there is no way to give up and peek. You will only find out how you did if you get all twelve.

12 names to recall

Why the example is built this way

  1. Only for a list they have learned.

Nothing is marked while they type, so this tests recall rather than teaching it. Use it after the lesson, on a list students are expected to produce from memory.

  2. Twelve names in three minutes.

Twelve items are either in someone's head or they aren't. Without feedback, a long list or a long clock turns into an endurance test rather than a check.

  3. One list, no groups.

In this mode the group a player files a name under counts too, so a right name in the wrong group is a miss. Leave groups out unless the class has been warned.

Build it yourself

  1. 1 Open the Name them all builder and fill in the The list tab.
  2. 2 Change the settings under What makes it this. Each one says where it is in the builder.
  3. 3 Share the link with your players, or embed the activity in your own site.

Or skip the building: copy this example and swap in your own content.
