Twelve riddles, one on every door. Pick a door, solve its riddle and the door opens. One a day makes a nice start to the morning.
Why the example is built this way
-
The riddle hangs on the door.
Every door asks its riddle on a gift tag. The right answer opens the door onto a short reply and a fact, so solving it is the reward.
-
Answers in more than one spelling.
Each riddle accepts the usual ways of writing its answer, like piano and a piano. Capitals and spaces don't matter when players type.
-
Any door, any day.
The doors open any time and in any order, so the class can start whenever it likes. To open one door a day instead, set When doors open to On their own day in your copy.
Build it yourself
- 1 Open the Advent calendar builder and fill in the first tab, Calendar & doors.
- 2 Share the link with your players, or embed the activity in your own site.
Or skip the building: copy this example and swap in your own content.
